Ingredients

  • 2 Cakes Maggi Noodles
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 Cup Mushrooms quartered
  • 2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
  • 1 ½ Cup Milk
  • ¼ Cup Chopped Bell Pepper
  • ¼ Cup Sliced Olives
  • ¾ Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Chilli Flakes
  • ¾ Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoons Basil Leaves cut into strips
  • 2 Tablespoons Grated Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

  • Add Maggi noodles to 2 cups of boiling water and cook until al dente. This cooks fast, in less than 2 minutes so pay close attention. Drain the noodles and run them under cold water and set them aside.
  • Add butter and olive oil to a pan and allow it to heat up. Add mushrooms and cook on high for 2 minutes or until it becomes golden brown. Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
  • Add flour and mix well. Saute for 2 minutes on low or until the raw smell goes.
  • Add milk while stirring and mix to combine. Add bell pepper, olives, chilli flakes, Italian seasoning, salt and black pepper and mix. Stir continuously until the milk thickens and ensure no lumps are formed.
  • Add cooked noodles, chopped basil leaves and grated cheese. Mix to combine and serve immediately!
