Marinate the wings using all the ingredients under marinade for anywhere between half an hour to overnight.
When ready to bake, pre-heat oven to 220 degree celsius.
Line a tray with aluminium foil (if using) or brush it with oil.
Beat the egg with salt in a wide dish. In another dish, mix the breadcrumbs with salt and chili powder.
Dip each wing in egg first and then dredge with the breadcrumb mixture. Line them on the prepared tray.
Brush with oil and place them in the oven.
After ten minutes, turn them and brush the other side with oil. Bake for another ten minutes.
For the Sauce
Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan.
Add the minced garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
Add all the other ingredients for sauce and simmer for 3-4 minutes till the sauce thickens up.
Toss the wings in sauce while they are still hot. Taste best with some beer on the side!
