- ½ cup fresh cream
- ½ cup fresh milk
- ⅛ cup sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla essence
- ½ tablespoon fresh orange juice
For serving
- 3 oranges cut into half
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Making orange posset mix
Add all the ingredients except orange juice to a cooking pot & start cooking.
½ cup fresh cream, ½ cup fresh milk, ⅛ cup sugar, ⅛ teaspoon salt, ⅛ teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons orange zest, ¼ teaspoon vanilla essence
Once it starts boiling, simmer & cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes till the mixture thickens. Take off the heat, add orange juice & stir well.
½ tablespoon fresh orange juice
Pour it into the orange moulds & set in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
garnish with chocolate shavings & serve.

- Use ripe, fresh oranges for best results.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator which will stay good for 2-3 days.
