Mix together all the dry ingredients to make our secret garlic seasoning mix

Combine together flour, 2 tablespoons of the garlic seasoning, sugar and yeast.

Add all the milk

Begin to knead the dough

When it is almost done, add minced garlic, melted butter and salt, and knead for 1-2 minutes

Once done, shape the dough into a large ball

Place the dough in a bowl that has been greased with oil to proof

Once the dough has doubled, divide it into two halves.

To make the plain garlic breadsticks, roll one half out to form a semicircle

For the stuffed garlic breadsticks: Roll into a circle. On the bottom half of the circle add filling

Pull the top half over the cheese and seal the edges by tightly pinching it with your fingers.

Place the shaped dough on the tray

Sprinkle some more maize flour and oregano seasoning on top of the dough.

Brush it with cooled melted butter and sprinkle more seasoning or maize flour if necessary.

With a knife, lightly mark straight lines along the bread for cutting after baking.

Bake for 20-25 minutes.  Brush with melted butter and serve.
