Brownie Bites Ingredients Overview

This recipe is all about simplicity, requiring just four key ingredients to create a festive treat. Start with brownies—whether homemade or store-bought, they’re the base of this dessert.

For a healthier option, try using chickpea chocolate brownies like I did. Add a layer of white frosting to create a snowy, festive vibe—whipped cream or cream cheese frosting works perfectly too.

Top with strawberries, whose vibrant red color and conical shape resemble tiny Santa hats or Christmas tree toppers. Finish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of green and a refreshing touch. That’s it! A quick, beautiful dessert is ready to wow your guests.

Richa’s Top Tips

  1. Use a Cookie Cutter: For neat, even brownie pieces, use a round or festive-shaped cookie cutter. This makes them look extra polished.
  2. Homemade or Store-Bought: If you’re in a pinch, store-bought brownies work just as well. Just make sure they’re dense and fudgy.
  3. Get Creative with Toppings: Not a fan of mint? Try cherries, crushed candy canes, tutti-frutti, or colorful sprinkles.
  4. Chill Before Serving: Once assembled, chill the brownie bites in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to help the frosting set and make them easier to handle.

Frequently Asked Questions

What other toppings can I use?

You can swap strawberries for cherries, add sprinkles or crushed candy canes, or even drizzle melted chocolate for an extra festive touch. Let your creativity shine!

Can I make this dessert ahead of time?

Absolutely. You can assemble the brownie bites and store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a day before serving. Just make sure the frosting is firmly set before stacking.

How do I store leftovers?

Leftover brownie bites can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days. For best results, keep them in a single layer to avoid smudging the frosting.
