IngredientsYou’ll Need

Here’s a list of everything you’ll need to make this mango chia breakfast recipe, most of which are pretty basic:

  • Coconut Milk – I have used store-bought coconut milk for this recipe. You can use also make yours at home. Here’s a homemade coconut milk recipe I love. Can be easily subbed with other plant-based milk, regular milk, or yogurt instead.
  • Chia Seeds – Soaked overnight in coconut milk. Chia seeds are available in black or white, and you can use any variety easily available to you.
  • Honey/Maple Syrup/Sugar – I have used honey, but you can use maple syrup, sugar or any other sweetener of your choice.
  • Mango Puree – Mashed-up mangoes blended into a smooth paste. I use homemade puree of 2-3 ripe mangoes but you can always use the store-bought kind too!

  1. Akansha, ‘sabja’ is a great substitute. However you will definitely find Chia Seeds in either Foodhall or Godrej Natures Basket. I’ve seen them there.

  2. Hi Richa! Could you please tell me where you bought the chia seeds? I haven’t been able to find inexpensive ones anywhere in Bangalore! is ‘sabja’ a good enough substitute?
