Made with chia seeds, mango pulp and milk, this one's quick, easy, super healthy. Soaking the chia seeds in milk, gives this dish a thick and smoothie-like texture, which can be eaten in big satisfying gulp, or be spooned up from a bowl. Loaded with fiber, protein, and good fats, this one makes for a complete meal and an excellent start to your day!

Here's a list of everything you'll need to make this mango chia breakfast recipe, most of which are pretty basic:
- Coconut Milk - I have used store-bought coconut milk for this recipe. You can use also make yours at home. Here's a homemade coconut milk recipe I love. Can be easily subbed with other plant-based milk, regular milk, or yogurt instead.
- Chia Seeds - Soaked overnight in coconut milk. Chia seeds are available in black or white, and you can use any variety easily available to you.
- Honey/Maple Syrup/Sugar - I have used honey, but you can use maple syrup, sugar or any other sweetener of your choice.
- Mango Puree - Mashed-up mangoes blended into a smooth paste. I use homemade puree of 2-3 ripe mangoes but you can always use the store-bought kind too!

Mango Chia Seed Breakfast Drink
Ingredients
- 1 cup Coconut Milk sub with regular Milk, Yogurt, Almond Milk, Soy Milk
- ยผ cup Chia Seeds
- 2 teaspoons Honey Maple Syrup or Sugar work too
- 1 cup Mango Puree or any other Fruit Pulp
Instructions
- Combine chia seeds, honey and coconut milk in a bowl and set aside for 10 minutes to let the seeds absorb the liquid and thicken it
- To assemble the drink, start by pouring mango puree to fill up half the glass. Top it with the coconut milk and chia seed mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least half an hour or overnight. Serve Chilled

Akansha, 'sabja' is a great substitute. However you will definitely find Chia Seeds in either Foodhall or Godrej Natures Basket. I've seen them there.
